Alpha | CITY Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Each week we will begin our time together with a meal, followed teaching and discussion. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays February 7 thru April 10, 6:00pm-8pm. Doors open, check in and food for this group will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 11th week - Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? If attending groups at night are a challenge for you due to schedule, this is for YOU - and is open to anyone else! Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Tuesday mornings January 16 thru March 5, 7:00am.

Alpha is a place to connect with other people who are open to exploring life, faith, and meaning. Each session includes a time to connect with others over a free meal, hear a short talk on an element of the Christian faith, and then a chance for each person to share their own questions with the group. We'd love to hear your perspective! We will have Kickoff Alpha on February 5th at 6:00pm and end on Monday, April 8th. Dinner will be served each week and childcare is available.

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what we believe at River Valley Church. What do we believe about the Bible? Who is Jesus? How do I share my faith? If you have questions about being a Christian that you want to find genuine answers to, this is a safe place to get those answers! We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have a discussion together to learn more about God and get to know one another in a deeper way.

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible? And Does God heal today? The format is simple: We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week's topic, and then have discussion together to learn more. Our Winter semester will begin Monday, February 5, at 6:00pm. Dinner will be served each week, and childcare will be provided on a limited basis. A separate registration will be required for childcare. This group will meet for 10 weeks and will end on April 8.

Alpha is an intentional place where we can have honest and open conversations about life’s biggest questions! Whether you’re new to faith, exploring Christianity or a bit put off by religious conversations, Alpha is a safe place where you can ask questions and get answers. Each week we will share a meal together as we discuss our topic for the night. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off-limits! Alpha will begin at 6:00 pm and go until 8:00pm with child care provided. This group starts on Monday, February 5th, in the Main Auditorium. Our group will meet for 10 weeks, ending on Monday, April 8th. Also, mark your calendar for the Holy Spirit Retreat on Saturday, March 16th.
