Core Group

Alpha | CITY Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Each week we will begin our time together with a meal, followed teaching and discussion. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays February 7 thru April 10, 6:00pm-8pm. Doors open, check in and food for this group will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 11th week - Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? If attending groups at night are a challenge for you due to schedule, this is for YOU - and is open to anyone else! Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Tuesday mornings January 16 thru March 5, 7:00am.

Alpha is a place to connect with other people who are open to exploring life, faith, and meaning. Each session includes a time to connect with others over a free meal, hear a short talk on an element of the Christian faith, and then a chance for each person to share their own questions with the group. We'd love to hear your perspective! We will have Kickoff Alpha on February 5th at 6:00pm and end on Monday, April 8th. Dinner will be served each week and childcare is available.

If you have questions about being a Christian that you want to find genuine answers to, this is a safe place to get those answers! We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have a discussion together to learn more about God and get to know one another in a deeper way.

The format is simple: We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together to learn more. This group will meet for 10 weeks. Begins February 6.
