First Saturday Serve
On the first Saturday of each month, teams meet at various locations to share God's love in practical ways by caring for the felt needs within our community.
The Good Neighbor program exists to empower the church to walk alongside refugees and immigrants with the love of Christ. Good Neighbors befriend refugees and asylum seekers by providing practical support and life skills to those who have been forced to flee their homelands. Our team will walk alongside a family for one year. Some of our responsibilities will be: * Welcome newly-arriving refugee family through Arrive Ministries’ Reception and Placement program. * Be one of the first faces to greet this family upon their arrival at the airport. * In partnership with the family’s case manager wewill have the opportunity to assist with appointments and help the family learn local systems, all while extending friendship to our newest neighbors. *Come alongside a refugee or immigrant family already living in Minnesota. * Provide support to families seeking asylum.
Thursday at 6:30 PM
A group for young adults where we honestly wrestle with questions about the Bible and how to apply this ancient text to our 21st century lives. Bring your Bible, your notebook, your questions, your doubts, your fears, your joy, your curiosity and join this community of folks who want a serious relationship with their Bible…but who aren’t there yet.
Wednesday at 7:00 PM
We live in a world that alone will not produce Godly men. Our children, and more specifically our sons, are culturally acclimatized to "never grow up" and live the life of a boy in a man's body. Living this first hand with my own son, I refuse to let the world dictate his future outcome. The goal of this group is for a small group of men to "intentionally" disciple our sons to become the Godly men the Lord calls them to be. Utilizing Jon Tyson's book "The Intentional Father" as a guide, this is a men's group for fathers of boys between the ages of 12-19 who are interested in helping their boys step into becoming a man of God. Wednesday at 6:30 PM

Intercessory Prayer will happen on campus (14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley) at 630pm in the Family Auditorium. Childcare is not provided
Friday at 6:30 AM
Come together as men Friday mornings from 6:30 to 7:30 AM. As iron sharpens iron, we sharpen each other through studying the Bible and discussing how we apply it to our lives today. Just bring a Bible!
Sunday at 3:00 PM
This group is designed to get into God's Word, grow in your relationship with Jesus and connect to others. We will read the Bible together following River Valley's SOAP method. We can't wait to get to know you! Address will emailed upon registration.
Prayer is hard. Harder than it seems it should be. We are busy, distracted, and unsure if our time spent in prayer is amounting to anything. We want to have a vibrant, passionate prayer life, but instead, we may have one that is cold and apathetic. What is the cure for this? It is a true, biblical understanding of prayer. Our group meets every other Thursday evening starting January 18th.
This group is designed to get into God's Word, grow in your relationship with Jesus and connect to others. We will read the Bible together following River Valley's SOAP method and meet bi-weekly. I can't wait to get to know you! We will start the group with the "Take Ground" study guide that is inspired by this year's vision that Pastor Rob shared in January. I believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and see you take ground personally!

This group is for those who wish to bless others by making a meal. When a family is facing a challenging situation (whether a new baby, health diagnosis, emergency, etc.) and could use some support, my desire is to help provide some meals. When a need arises, I will create a meal train schedule & send it out to all members. You do not need to participate for every need - you can choose what works for you! My goal is to grow the group to easily provide for any need without relying too heavily on any member. This is not a typical small group & will not be meeting together.
Wednesday at 7:00 AM
A study for men who are looking to make a difference in their workplace and family. We meet Wednesdays from 7-8 am at the Original Pancake House in Eden Prairie. We review the previous week's sermon message, then share testimonies and prayer requests.
This group is for men pursuing God and asking Him to equip them with all they need to walk with Him in truth, passion, purpose, purity and discipleship. The group utilizes the Authentic Manhood curriculum ("33" series -for the 33 years that Jesus walked the earth). The curriculum and group resources offer clear and practical Biblical insights on God’s design for manhood that are both refreshing and inspiring. The group will point men to a gospel-centered vision of life that sets them up to enjoy God’s grace as they pursue the promises of His Word. Group Timeline: Stage 1: 12 weeks - Authentic Manhood for Grown Men (A Man’s Design, His Story, and His Traps) (meets for 12 consecutive weeks). Stage 2: 6 additional weeks: Man and his Work 6 additional weeks: Man and his Marriage, and Fatherhood Men can join at anytime, but in order to earn a camo wristband with “Iron Sharpens Iron” (Free, Pure Disciples on the inside) a man must complete his full commitment to Stages 1 & 2.
Thursday at 7:00 PM
We will read/watch Wild at Heart and go through the '33 Series Authentic Manhood', hear from guest speakers, and learn from each other as we are discipled into better men, who walk in God's truth of what manhood is, know our life's purpose, live in purity, and be men who are never complacent and who go Full Throttle and Take Ground in every segment of our Life: Church, for our Wife (or future wife), Friends, Community, and at Work. Also, we will bbq while we still can! Looking forward to meeting you! If you have any questions, text me at 952-215-4535
We are starting a men’s only (for now) small group in which we’ll be getting together on Sunday nights at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake, for open gym basketball. All skill levels are welcome and the gym will be reserved for this RV group, specifically. Get in the gym and enjoy some fellowship and fun runs up and down the court for a few hours, followed by group prayer. Competition is great, especially in an encouraging environment, surrounded by men who love Jesus. Let’s form some authentic friendships while collectively missing plenty of shots and turning the ball over dozens of times. Please wear outdoor shoes until you enter the gym, in which then you can switch into your gym/basketball shoes. The cost is $5/person (each time) and their staff prefers cash, if possible.
Monday at 7:00 PM

Saturday at 9:00 AM
You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled not by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Click here to read more about The Promise Principle and see our weekly reading plan:
Tuesday at 6:30 PM
We gather together to work on projects, share a devotional, fellowship, pray and bless our community. You can bring a project of your own or work on one we've already started. Group projects are donated to the community. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. Current projects include tie blankets, loom hats, knitted and crocheted scarves, hats and blankets.
Saturday at 10:00 AM

We want to represent who God is and build His kingdom through community while having lots of fun. We are located 20 min from the Woodbury Campus just off exit 10 on 94 in Wisconsin.
The schools are one of the largest mission fields right in our neighborhoods. This group will meet monthly to inspire, encourage, and equip one another to take ground in our local schools. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus! We will share ways to get involved in the schools, pray for one another, and take time to connect. Come join us as we encourage one another. You are not alone! We will meet every other Sunday at 2pm at the leader's home in Lakeville.
