Walking in Faith

In the third chapter of 1 John, we consider what it looks like to love others with an active, Christ-like love that prioritizes their needs above our self-interest.

In the fourth chapter of 1 John, we learn how to test and discern truth versus deception, so that we are not drawn away from a true belief in who Jesus really is.

In the first chapter of 1 John, we learn about God’s nature through the metaphor of light contrasted with darkness and consider what it looks like for us to represent His nature by walking with Him and others in light.

In the second chapter of 1 John, we learn how we can show our loving commitment to God by keeping ourselves free from sin, remaining steadfast in His truth, and genuinely loving others.
