Walking In Love

In the fourth chapter of 1 John, we learn how to test and discern truth versus deception, so that we are not drawn away from a true belief in who Jesus really is.

In the fifth chapter of 1 John, we learn how faith in God’s redemptive plan for humanity enables us to overcome the challenges we face in this life and see His good purposes come to pass.

In the first chapter of 1 John, we learn about God’s nature through the metaphor of light contrasted with darkness and consider what it looks like for us to represent His nature by walking with Him and others in light.

In the second chapter of 1 John, we learn how we can show our loving commitment to God by keeping ourselves free from sin, remaining steadfast in His truth, and genuinely loving others.
