This families team will partner with Children's Cup at multiple CarePoints and communities to host bible clubs, minister in homes, sports tournament with devotions, a light construction project, assist with feeding program, and encourage the volunteers. This team will require background checks by each team member. Team Leaders: Pastor Katrina and Derek Severson (Kids Pastor at Apple Valley Campus) ==PASSPORT== Passports must not expire within 7 months of return date and must include 3 blank visa pages, not amendment pages. Please send a colored copy of your passport to rachel.schumacher@rivervalley.org. If you do not have a passport, please send confirmation of an ordered passport or confirmation that you have a passport appointment. This will be due within one week of your application being approved. ==REGISTRATION== Registration opens Monday, March 3 and closes Monday, March 24; Registration for the team is on a first come, first served basis; To reserve your spot, please submit the online application and deposit. ==COST== Trip Cost Total: $2,795 (ESTIMATED COST UNTIL AIRFARE IS PURCHASED) Deposit: $200, due no later than March 24, with online application Total Amount Due: $1,110, due by Monday, May 5 Total Amount Due: $2,000, due by Monday, June 16 Total Amount Due: $2,795, due by Monday, August 11 INCLUDED IN COST: Airfare, food, lodging (hotel), transportation, Global Team swag gear, international insurance and a donation to the Missionary Host. NOT INCLUDED IN COST: Passport fees and health expenses. We believe that command of Christ to go into all the world has not changed but we are certainly aware and respect the many challenges that exist locally and globally.
