You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will begin on Tuesday, February 6, and will meet from 6:30-8pm at the Minnetrista Campus by the Fireside. It is a 7-week group and will end on March 19.

We believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and see you take ground personally!

From time to time, we receive requests for Meal Trains to be organized for families who are transitioning with a new baby in their home, for those who are recovering from illnesses, or those who are overwhelmed with life's challenges or a recent family death. Do you love to cook and want to use your culinary talents to bless others in this way? Help is here and hope is possible if you are widowed! Find help in grieving the death of your spouse at GriefShare's one-day seminar Loss Of A Spouse. We will meet once on Wednesday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. Hear practical advice from others who’ve been there. Learn what to expect in your grief. Be equipped to cope with life without your spouse. Know that it won’t always hurt this much. Loss Of A Spouse is a video seminar where you’ll gain insight from counselors, pastors, and psychologists; and hear stories of hope and healing from others who have lost a spouse. After the 35 minute video seminar there is a time to talk to others about what was learned from the video. There’s no pressure to share. The Grief Share guidebook is $5 and has more than 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life.
