Hello! We meet at River Valley Shakopee on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30am. Starting Jan. 9, 2024, we will start a new series called Explore, one of the core discipleship groups at River Valley Church. Using a study curriculum called "Xplore", we will embark upon a 7-lesson study to help believers discover the biblical theme of God’s global purpose, the task remaining in frontier missions, major world religions, and how they can participate in God’s global purpose, no matter their location or vocation.

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Are you ready to get started? River Valley recommendation is to take Alpha and Freedom classes previous to Empower class. We will meet Mondays, September 18 through November 6. Hosted by Jeff & Julie Morton.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission (Mondays, Feb 5-Mar 25). For this season, free childcare will be offered with limited capacities on a first-come, first-serve basis.
