This group will meet monthly to pray for the nations and our church missionaries. We will gather the second Friday of each month in our home for prayer and worship. Additionally, once a month, we will explore cultural opportunities in the Twin Cities.

Alpha | CITY Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Each week we will begin our time together with a meal, followed teaching and discussion. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays February 7 thru April 10, 6:00pm-8pm. Doors open, check in and food for this group will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 11th week - Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

We can't wait to get to know you! We will start the group with the "Take Ground" study guide that is inspired by this years vision that Pastor Rob shared in January. We believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and see you take ground personally!

Alpha | Chaska Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Since we are not yet in our building, this group will meet in our home. The format is simple: We share a meal around a table (we will provide), listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together over dessert! Alpha will meet every Tuesday Starting February 6. There will be one Saturday retreat on the Holy Spirit in the middle (date and location to be announced). Alpha is a great course to solidify what you believe, and form friendships with fellow believers who will walk through the ups and downs of life together. This is a new community starting from scratch, and we want you to be a part of building it with us! All are welcome.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Monday beginning on Monday, Feb 5 and ending on Monday, Apr 8. Snacks will be offered. Kids Programming will be offered for kids 5 years and up. Childcare is NOT provided for Kids 4 and under.
