This is a group that meets once every two weeks and is for those 60 years and above. We will get together to fellowship, have some spiritual discussion and pray for each other.

Alpha | Chaska Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Since we are not yet in our building, this group will meet in our home. The format is simple: We share a meal around a table (we will provide), listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together over dessert! Alpha will meet every Tuesday Starting February 6. There will be one Saturday retreat on the Holy Spirit in the middle (date and location to be announced). Alpha is a great course to solidify what you believe, and form friendships with fellow believers who will walk through the ups and downs of life together. This is a new community starting from scratch, and we want you to be a part of building it with us! All are welcome.

This group is designed to get into God's Word, grow in your relationship with Jesus and connect to others. We will read the Bible together following River Valley's SOAP method. We can't wait to get to know you! We will start with the "Take Ground" study guide that is inspired by this year's vision that pastor rob shared in January. We believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and also see you take ground personally
