Freedom | City Winter 2024

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays February 7 - April 3, 6:30pm-8pm. Doors open and check in will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

Have you been wanting to go deeper in God's Word? Then join us as we gather weekly with other men from Eagan campus to read & study the Bible together. We'll be moving through different books of the Bible, chapter by chapter. The heart of this study is to look at the context of the passage and make observations (What does it say?), Interpretations (What does it mean?), and Applications (How does God want me to apply this in my life?). Whether you're a new believer or have been walking with Jesus most your life, this group will be beneficial for you! You'll be encouraged to study the chapter beforehand and come with questions of your own to discuss. We're meeting virtually Thursday mornings 6:30-7:30am. You can even join the call from work before you clock in.

This group is for those who wish to bless others by making a meal. When a family is facing a challenging situation (whether a new baby, health diagnosis, emergency, etc.) and could use some support, my desire is to help provide some meals. When a need arises, I will create a meal train schedule & send it out to all members. You do not need to participate for every need - you can choose what works for you! My goal is to grow the group to easily provide for any need without relying too heavily on any member. This is not a typical small group & will not be meeting together.

Empower | Minnetrista Winter 2024

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience, and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study, you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it daily. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Are you ready to get started? There will be homework. This will be an interactive group, so please plan to be prepared to share weekly what you are learning from the Holy Spirit. This group is nine consecutive Monday nights. It begins on Monday, February 5, and ends on Monday, April 1. Childcare is available on a limited basis. A separate registration is required. NOTE: If you have not been through the River Valley 'Alpha' core group yet, we would strongly encourage you to join that small group before attending Empower. It will be helpful to you to receive what God has in store for you.
