Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis, providing respite care for exhausted parents, and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through a network of care. This group will provide awareness and information and will have action steps for those who would like future engagement.

Explore | City Winter 2024

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Our group will meet weekly for 8 weeks at our campus on Tuesdays February 6 thru March 26, 6:30pm-8pm. Doors open & check in will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)

Deep Dive Into the Parables of Jesus

This group will meet at Minnetrista Campus December 13th 5-6:15, January 10th 5-6:15, February 7th 5-6:15. There will also be three leader parable prep days for the women leading the group. There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Please note*** It is strongly recommended that you attend the Alpha and Freedom courses before attending Empower.

This is a safe place to process and pray through child loss and infertility struggles 1 Samuel 1:19-20 Samuel Is Born 19 The family got up early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord. Then they returned to their house in Ramah. Elkanah lay with his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 The Lord made it possible for her to have a child, and when the time came she gave birth to a son. She gave him the name Samuel, saying, “I have asked the Lord for him." Samuel's Hope: A group of prayer warriors believing that God will make it possible for them to have a child. We will be asking God to remember us, just as he did Hannah in 1 Samuel, and to bring us a child. This group was created to be a source of encouragement, prayer support, and safe place to share. It's for women who have a desire to have children, but are facing obstacles. It's a place where we as women will stand together and ask God to make it possible. We will ask God to remember us and give us sons and daughters to raise to honor Him. The plan - to commit every Monday to a time in prayer for each other

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! We will meet for 4 weeks on Sundays during the 11am service at the campus. (January 7, 14, 21, 28). You can attend the 9:30am service and then stay for our group! If you have children, they can go to Kids service during our group!
