Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will begin on Tuesday, February 6, and will meet from 6:30-8pm at the Minnetrista Campus by the Fireside. It is a 7-week group and will end on March 19.

You are welcome here! This is a "join at any time" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Alpha | Apple Valley Winter 2024

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? The format is simple: We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together to learn more. Arrive at 630pm. If you have children, childcare is provided, you can check them in and drop them off at 615pm. Note, due to a time change for core groups, dinner will not be provided in Kids, so please plan accordingly. Alpha will begin on Tuesday, Feb 6 in the Lounge. Our group will meet for 10 weeks, ending on Tuesday, Apr 9.

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Freedom will meet every Tuesday starting Tuesday, Feb 6 and ending Tuesday, Apr 9. Snacks will be provided. Childcare is provided and you can check them into childcare at 615pm.

Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? Each week we will begin our time together with a meal, followed teaching and discussion. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays February 7 thru April 10, 6:00pm-8pm. Doors open, check in and food for this group will be available beginning at 6pm. We will conclude our group by serving together on our 11th week - Wednesday April 17 at 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome to attend)
