Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. In this group you will learn more about the church, make new connections and learn more about yourself. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! We can't wait to meet you! This is a 4-week small group that will meet by the Fireside on Sundays. It will run from Sunday, February 4 through Sunday, February 25 during the 9:00am service.

It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Are you ready to get started? River Valley recommendation is to take Alpha and Freedom classes previous to Empower class. We will meet Mondays, September 18 through November 6. Hosted by Jeff & Julie Morton.

We believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and also see you take ground personally

We partner with ICCM Life Center for a promising evening of God ordained encounters! Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors, build relationships while connecting with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Starting at 6pm we meet at the Life Center for prayer and worship (preparing food is also an option). At 7pm we then load up the Life Center buses and drive to various parts of the city, focusing on encampments, bus stops, high traffic areas and shelters. Throughout the night we will have countless opportunities to pray with, love on, and provide essentials to individuals and families while spreading the JOY OF THE LORD. :) We gather back at the Life Center around 9pm to share our experience, testimonies and encouragement. It’s always powerful to see how the Holy Spirit moves both inside us and through the individuals we meet. Hope to see you there!! Here is a document that has a few details:

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. We meet from 6:30pm - 8pm. We start Feb 5 & Childcare is included.
